I thought the charges came out of your allowance wherever you were in the world (as long as you have wifi) but have just had a hefty bill.
I was given my info from an O2 shop.
Can anyone tell me for sure the costs of making and receiving calls using this app?

No...I use TuGo when abroad over Wifi. I have unlimited calls and texts so get charged 'nothing'....
You need to make sure its turned on and only make/receive calls and texts via Tugo

Uk calls at allowance rate, international number at international rate i.e. non uk numbers

No to use your inclusive minutes but what is shown in myo2 as others have said it works abroad when used correctly.
The uk purpose is for poor / no signal and you have wifi access
