Sporadically charging iphone 5s

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have a shiney new iphone 5s which has suddenly decided to only charge when it feels like it. It has charged three times in the last week. I have tried various charges, cables and plug sockets, even my car. It just won't charge unless it is in the mood.

I wnt to know what the O2 policy is on repair/replacement?

It might be quicker and easier to visit an Apple shop if there is one near you.

Here's how to make an appointment at a Genius Bar.

http://concierge.apple.com/reservation/gb/en/techsupport/

If you don't they could turn you away if it's busy.

O2 would send it away with no gurantees on time scale or even a loan phone as long as you can get it to charge until an apple appointment is available that would be my advice

You have already done what I would have suggested (using a different plug/socket).

@perksie is right - you should take it to an Apple store - in the Apple store they will plug your phone in and run a programme to assess the activity of your battery and whether it is working the way that it should.
