I smashed my iPhone 7 screen and made a claim on the insurance, they have gave me a 5-7days timescale is this normally how long it takes? in the past i have had a like for like repleacement.

I asked for a courtesy phone i was told to go my local o2 and deposit (refundable) £25.00 but my 3 local stores have none in stock.

Any ideas if it will take as long as 7 days,

also thye do not guarantee me getting a black one again, whats the chances of them sending another colour (really just dont want red)

TIA

CS told me they dont repair if accepted they will replace i cant see them not accepting as glass fibres come out if you try to use it now, DPD are due to collect today, i just think 7 days is steep on a £60 per month contract.

That's the timescale given. Fingers crossed it's quicker. Maybe check if any friends have got a spare phone in a drawer somewhere.

You will have to accept the timescale. After all they have to receive the phone themselves. Scan the claim in then send out the replacement

We haven't heard anything about the timescale @CLB- slight_frown

You could ask Customer Services though?

I'd say 5-7 days, maybe more, maybe less.
It depends how busy they are but as they are best placed to know that, you would think they were telling the truth.
However, it sounds like they are just planning on swapping it for a refurb, so it should only be a 24 hour turnaround.
