hi been waiting on my sim being activated for just over 12 hours but I'm worried that if it doesn't activate today then I won't be able to get in contact with O2 as don't know if they are open over new year. Any ideas on now much longer the sim will take just keep getting the message "no service"

Help. I purchased my new iPhone 5 on Thursday at 5pm the guy said nothing about activation of sim he said the number change from micro to nano sim would take bout 4 hours low and behold 11pm sat and still iPhone says no service .
Can I also text 20220 for my problem x

No reason why not. If they screwed up the sim swap it will start a new one. Even if they didnt it won't do any harm.

Has your old sim lost service?
