I have found posts regarding issues with signing in but my problem is signing out.

Since the last Twitter iPhone app update, I have no option to sign out on my iPhone.

I know that the sign out option was in the settings menu within the app, but it seems to have disappeared.

Can anybody help?

I have sent a few tweets to Twitter support, however I have had no response.

I have also posted a general tweet and I had a few users respond saying that they didn't know how to sign out and I had a few who told me the old way (which cannot be done since the update).

Has anyone else had any luck?

Has anyone had any luck with this?

I have sent a tweet to Twitter support again but I have had no response.

I have deleted and reinstalled the app but I still cannot find an option to sign out.  Is it possible to sign out on the iPhone or was that feature taken away since the update?

It must be a feature that has been removed

I still cannot find an option to sign out. Although I have however found an option saying 'login verification' but I don't know what that is.

This might be worth a try:

There is no logout option as such on the Twitter application for iPhone or iPad, instead you have to delete your account under Settings. This will not delete the app or your account completely, it will simply just log you out of the account you are currently in. Here is a simple guide to find out how!

1) Go to settings
2) Select Twitter
3) Select the account you want to log out of
4) Press delete account (this will not delete your account from twitter or delete the twitter app, it will simply log you out of twitter on the iPhone)
5) To log back in simply go back to the Twitter app and log in

Thanks - I'll try that.

Although it sounds a bit silly having to delete account.

Just to let you know, Twitter have now released another update and this now allows you to sign out of the app on iPhone and iPad. The sign out process is the same as it was before the last update.
