Not without some other software, such as Kies if you have a Samsung phone, Nokia PC suite for Nokia's etc, however, on Apple you have handoff if running with iOS8 and a Mac with Yosemite - If it's iPhone to PC you'd have to look for an app on app store.

Only if you made a back up or saved them somewhere?
They are not saved automatically.....

I would say no.

Even if you had sent them from your mobile phone they only stay on the networks servers for a limited time.

Can the other party not forward them back onto you ?

I think texts being forwarded back  from the recipient COULD be a bit tricky?...we dont know the OPs circumstances...or why they may want these texts?
