Quick Question :)

Hi All,

Just received a message saying my Iphone is now unlocked, insert the non o2 sim and sync with Itunes which is all good, my question is this though... Can I continue to use my 4S until Saturday and then swap the sim to the non o2 one when I get my Iphone 5, only ask as I asked for the unlock so my GF can have my 4s on another carrier and was told there was a lead time, only requested last night and its done already 😕

Many Thanks

Rob

I can confirm that once o2 request from apple that the iphone is unlocked from o2 it becomes a factory unlocked iphone and will take any sim at any time from around the world.

The advisor was that on live chat or on the phone?

Cool thanks for the speedy reply, one last thing, if I plug my iphone in and start up itunes to take a backup of my phone will it lock to o2 again or is that just when you place the non o2 sim in and it prompts for activation? slight_smile

Thanks again

Rob

Thats why I came on here, the majority of the info was clear but I was not too sure about the carrier lock being upon activation, really appreciate you clearing that up for me mate slight_smile
