Hiya, recently purchased a phone from a friend that was Sim locked, and she said that she originally had a Vodafone sim in and then it stopped working, so she put an o2 sim in and it worked. Then when trying to put a Vodafone sim in, it didn’t work. Was wondering if putting the o2 sim in locked the phone to the o2 network? I don’t have an o2 sim to try it out.

@peach

If the voda sim worked previously it wouldn't be locked to O2 by putting an O2 sim in it.

It may be that the phone was never locked and the voda sim was faulty?
