Hello I was wondering if someone could help me I’ve recently joined 02 from being with a diffrent phone company an when I placed my order It given me the option to keep my number so I did all the pac code but then I’ve received a text that they can’t do the number port until 6th January.

how will this work would I have to turn off both phones an will I be able to use my new phone when it arrives in the morning or would I have to wait until my old number is transferred to my o2 sim to be able to use the phone ?

Reboot the phone containing your new SIM every so often, @LUMC_0102 - it can take a while for O2's network to "find" where your SIM is on their network. 🤞

It's up to 9.00pm for some kind of signal but can be a full 24 hours for everything to be up and running correctly.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
