Porting number over to O2

Hi

My phone number is due to port over to O2 today

 

This morning I have seen it has left my old iphone 6S as I see 'No Service'

 

However on my new iPhone 11 Im still seeing the temproray O2 number I was issued with so my number hasnt yet ported over.

 

Just wondering how long roughly does it take to refresh on my new phone?

It could take a few hours. Keep rebooting until you get a signal.

Also go to Settings >Phone >My number and edit that to your correct number so that iMessage and facetime can activate.

I have a full signal as im on my temporary o2 number that I got with the new iphone.

 

I have tried to change the number in Settings >Phone >My number but when I do save it and then go back into the settings its reverted back to this temporary number

 

Spoke to live chat and they said keep turning the phone off and on during regular intervals.

Yeah, as I said, the process has started so keep rebooting until it switches over.
