Phone don't switch on

I was using my phone and the screen froze then just went off. I can not get it to come back on.

Is it charged?
If you can, try taking battery out for 5 mins.
Otherwise, what Phone are we taking about?

Try holding the home and power button together to see if you can get it to restart.
