Phone contract confirmation

I bought a phone on contract around 5 days ago and it emailed me saying I should get a confirmation email regarding my phone within 24 hours. It’s been 5 days since and I haven’t had any email. I spoke to someone in the 02 shop and they told me to contact again if nothing comes up in the next couple days. Just wondering what I should do. When I went into the shop they said my order was processing and that it is a waiting game but not sure how long I should be waiting. Could I have some help please
