I placed an order for an ipad and received an email stating it was out of order currently and they were working hard to get it to me as soon as possible.
however i can find no traces of it on my account and am finding it impossible to actually talk to somebody. Can anybody assist me. All i want is an update on delivery as its for Christmas and its getting incredibly close.

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255.
The O2 Order and Stock management process is not automated, so your e-mail confirmation is all you will have until things start moving. Good luck!
