I want to give my iphone5 to a family member. Do I need 02 to unlock it
so it can be used with a pay as you go sim?

@JoanM there's no need to unlock it for another O2 sim but if a different network is to be used, follow this guide https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-SIM-card/ba-p/1...
