Old iPhone unlock without old sim

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I'm in a situation with an old iPhone 5. I used my Mum's O2 monthly sim today to send off the unlock form, and I was wondering if I have to wait for O2 to get back to me, or if it's okay for me to put my Mum's sim back into her phone?

Thanks for your help! slight_smile

Use the phone for at least a day to latch it on the network then you can swap back.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
