Hi I’m currently in a sim contract with O2 on a iPhone 7plus, I’m getting a new phone on Thursday (iPhone 8plus), I’m still wanting to carry on with the contract in the same sim, Will there be any problems when changing the sim into another phone? Will have to do anything? Or will it be ok as in I can just swap the sim in to the other phone and it wouldn’t change anything?please

@Lacey1

Just swap your sim over and everything will be fine.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Enjoy you new phone @Lacey1

Yes, somethings in technology can still be easy slight_smile

Just don't drop that tiny little sim in the process, never mind the phone itself wink

Finally, use iTunes to backup your old phone so you can restore the backup to your new phone.

Even easier is to just have both phones side by side and follow the screen prompts on the new phone to copy everything from the old one.
