Hi - I've installed the O2 Wifi app on my iPhone 5, and it asked my if I wanted to install the O2 Wifi Profile to allow automatic connection when in range of a hotspot. I said yes, but now it's asking me for my 'passcode'. Which passcode?
I've had 4 failed attempts so far - I've tried my Apple password twice, one of the passwords I tend to use for other things (I know I shouldn't re-use passwords), and my phone number (suggested by an O2 'guru').
Any other suggestions?
Cheers
John

When I installed the O2 Wifi app it sent me a 4 digit code to my phone which I entered to allow the app to install. But this isn't the app - it's the profile, which is optional. Do you think I should use the same 4 digit code? I had assumed that was just for installing the app.
I'm already up to 4 failed attempts so I'm being a bit careful - don't know how many attempts I've got, or what happens if I exceed the limit...

Thanks. How many times have you used the code? Did you use it a second time, to install the Wifi profile?

Yeah, might be different on Android but I used it to install the app, and that's working fine. It's just this profile thing which is causing the trouble.
Anyway, I came out of the app, and when I go back in it's not asking me whether I want to install the profile any more - can't see anything in settings either. Perhaps it will pop up again when I get near a hotspot.
