Number porting issue

I ported my number in from EE earlier today and I’m currently unable to activate iMessages and FaceTime! I’ve tried turning them off and on and hard resetting the phone. I’ve also reset my network settings but it still says waiting for activation. And yes both had previously been working fine prior to the number transfer.
Any ideas please ??

It sounds like you need idata reactivating on your account

You need to call O2.

All numbers are in this guide

You can use Skype from your PC to call the free numbers if you have no phone available

Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support 

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,

Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

8am is the best time to call

I work in IT as an Enterprise Messaging and Collaboration Tools Administrator (Office 365, Slack and much much more) and manage hardware both Mobile and Desktop / laptop, my desk is a bit like PC World

Settings>>Phone>>My Number

Enter your number and reboot the phone
