No 4G after nearly a week.

I recently moved from EE to O2.

I got my iphone 5 unlocked by EE.  When my new o2 sim arrived, everything worked ok.  I got my old number ported over via PAC code and ever since the 4G has not worked (ported about 6 days ago)

The O2 site rather unhelpfully shows this:

Apparently the Iphone 5 does not support 4g(!)  I have tried the "Reset Network Settings" fix and rebooted the phone to no avail.

Any ideas?

As you are now aware, Apple chose not to make the iPhone 5 compatible with the frequency aquired by O2 and Vodafone for LTE (4g) in the UK.
Only EE or Three can be used with that specific phone (It is also the same for the iPad Mini 1st gen).
You need to now either change phones or change networks, sorry.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Personal choice in the long run. Can I ask the problem  with EE in the first place?

Sorry I'm doing it myself now!
