I received my iPhone 5 in December and 3G seemed to be working not I do not appear to be receiving a signal! I have checked postcode for signal strength and should be good. Not sure if I have inadvertently done something I have checked settings and cannot see anything obvious I may have done ;-/ Any help / advice gratefully received!

Had checked all of those and all as they should be - no 3G symbol just an o wherever I am

I would suggest a visit to an apple guru then. As it may be a hardware fault.

Try switching the phone to aeroplane mode and then switch back, Works for me when I lose 3G and edge signal.

Will do - nearest Apple store 45 miles away from me - still good excuse for a shopping trip lol

When you go to apple you will have a very good customer service experiance and well worth the trip.

I'm also having the exact same issue. 3G was working perfectly until I upgraded to 6.1.2.
Doubt this is a hardware issue as it was working just prior to the upgrade.
