Husband had just got new iPhone 11 and trying to set it up. Set up Face ID ok and started the phone to phone transfer but then can’t get past the software update for 14.0.1 It stays on the update for over an hour then stops. Have tried repeating but no progress and can’t get into settings as can only go back to the ‘hello’ screen. Any ideas please?

Try connecting to iTunes on a PC or laptop to update and setup.

Many thanks. Should we swap the sim before trying that?

If the phone is an upgrade you need to use the old sim.
