New iPhone 5s users check for malfunctioning sensors

There are numerous articles about the iPhone 5s sensors giving significantly inaccurate values. If you receive a new iPhone 5s can you check your sensors and also note when you got your iPhone (newer batches of phones may have hardware fixes implemented).
