Network Info missing ?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, am new to the community but have been an iPhone 5s user for a while.

Regarding 'No Caller ID' and 'unknown' calls received.

My query is not about who is calling but the associated network info.

Previously one would get (1) the date of the call, (2) the time of the call and (3) the duration of the call.

If the call was missed - this came up in red type.

But now nothing ..........

Got in contact with O2 Guru's - they suggested the Reset via Home + On/Off buttons.

Didnt work.

Anybody else having similar issue ?

I'm on iOS 9.1

Thanks.

Hi, and will do.

Bear with me for a while on this.

(Don't close the discussion).

Of course I've got the 'phones and the SIM.

What I'll do is pop into my local O2 shop and get the guys there to call me with their 'Caller ID' turned off.

Your iPhone 4 will require a micro sim though

I had a similar issue yesterday where no service showed up suddenly but after switching off and restarting phone it has resolved the issue.

Regarding the original query for absence of date/time of day/length of call ....

Some interim results.

(Presently using iPhone 5s on iOS 9.1)

After doing a restore on an old iPhone 5 running iOS 8.2. - with my current SIM.

Looking in iPhone/Recents - there are full and complete details (as above) from old calls.

Turn off 'phone/Take out SIM/Turn on 'phone.

Again looking in Phone/Recents - exactly same info as before.

As previously mentioned earlier - different SIM for my iPhone 4 so no joy there.

So it is looking like a change due to iOS then?

Hi again, it's beginning to look like it.

What would go a long way to confirm this would be ...

an iPhone 5 on iOS 9.1 and

an iPhone 5s on iOS 8.2

Have done a restore of iOS 8.2 on iPhone 5s - all is OK !

So it's looking like that iOS 9.1 has contributed to/created my issue.

I asked the same question on Apple Support Forums as well - lots of views but no fix.

Hopefully all will be well soon.

Seems the most logical reason for it.
