My phone bill

Anonymous
Not applicable

Can someone explain to me what it means on my monthly phone bill when it stars charges for premium and information services I appear to be getting charged from between £12 to £40 for services I do not understand , how can I disable these so called numbers as I believe I do not need them. I very rarely use my phone to call out and only use it to infrequently to access the Internet to read the BBC news downloads . I also always try to use free Wi Fi when I access the news channels . If someone from O2 can call me to explain I will be obliged. As I find these charges to be rather excessive I am considering cancelling my contract with O2 and will look for a cheaper tariff / provider.

i do hope someone can explain this issue to me preferably by email.

kind regards

Brian

This is a customer to customer forum so no one from O2 will respond - If you want to talk to O2 you need to call 202 from your O2 mobile, however, I can offer you this thread by way of advice as to how to deal with this https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Have-you-fallen-for-or-been-conned-into-a-premium-rate-scam-What/td-p/968023

It is something that can happen on any network and it is your responsibility to control it and deal with it.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
