I've recently switched my sim to a new iPhone. It says I have a connection but my data is not connecting to anything I want to use. I can still make calls and use WiFi so it's just my data not connecting. Can anyone help me out as I can't seem to make sense of anything on the o2 help pages?

You need customer service to connect you to idata

In the meantime you can change your APN to

mobile.o2.co.uk

or text ACTIVE to 2020

then reboot the phone after saving the settings

If You need to call O2 then choose any of the options, fraud etc
Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.

@CharlesL

Check in Settings >Mobile data that it is on and then scroll down to see if the switch is on (green) for each of the apps you want to use data on.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
