Hi guys,

I have an odd iPhone issue and cannot find anything after searching the web, so who better to ask than you lovely lot!

My iPhone 4S (iOS7) is having an issue with multiple tabs in Safari. Originally, I could open 5/6 tabs and they would remain open when I was on other pages. However now, they close down and have to reload when I go back to the page I want. This makes having multiple tabs open a little redundant. I have gone through my settings but can see no amendments to make.

Anyone comes across this before?

Cheers!

Is the banner at the top in safari black as private browsing is activated if so.

Press the two overlapping boxes in safari and hit private UN the bottom lh corner.

Hey BoB,

Nope it isn't on and makes no difference when on or off to the tabs.

There's no mention on the Apple community either. its bizarre!

Have you tried settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

Or try the full iOS restore.

I'll give it a go BoB but I think the issue may still be apparent, as I have not changed anything relating to it anyway. I'll update you slight_smile

Thanks!

I have the 5s and I am not having that issue Toby.

However, I do get tabs reloading occasionally on my iPad Air.

I did read a post on the MacRumours forum over the weekend that mentioned that Apple are aware of an issue some people are having with tab reloads and its going to be fixed with iOS 7.1, which is rumoured to be released around March.

I cannot find the post on the MacRumours site now though.

I was wrong, the story was about users having issues with app and Home Screen crashes.

Not everything fixed is mentioned in an update (a lot of the time it just mentions "various bug fixes"). So it might be fixed in iOS 7.1 Toby.

Might be worth sending your feedback/problem to Apple Toby.

Will do Fatboy good call.

Sorry for taking so long to update guys!

FYI: A reset has solved the problem for now (although didn't the first time oddly enough).

Thanks guys
