I have an iPhone 11 Pro, bought unlocked directly from Apple. I have an O2 SIM-only contract. I have bought a new unlocked iPhone 14 Pro from the Apple store. Can I simply take the existing O2 SIM card out of my old phone and use it immediately in the new phone?

Yes you can, but you will need a new sim if you are in a 5g area (unless yours is already 5g).

You can get a 5g sim from any O2 store or by contacting O2 online or by phone.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thanks for the swift reply MI5. There's no 5G where I live, so I won't upgrade for now.

No problem for you then mate.

Just swap your old sim to the new phone.
