i have just put in my microsim for my iphone and when i try to activate it says 'only compatible SIM cards from a supported carrier msy be used to activate iphone. Please insert the SIM that came with your iphone or visit a supported carrier's store to recieve a replacement SIM card.' i didn't get a sim card with my iphone, could anyone tell me what this means?

Where did you get your SIM card from?

If its O2 it sounds like a dodgy sim you'd have to get a new one sorry.

Either O2 shop or ask on the Phoenix CS and they'll send you one.

Sounds like phone is locked to a different network...
