A one off glitch or is there an explanation. And was the change of time and date significant?

Hi,
These glitches do happen and ive come across the date issue affecting e mails before.
As an example my Yahoo Mail and MacBook Air dont get along with each other either.
Something ive just come to live with.
Usually turning your iphone off and on resets it.
