MMS problems with iphone 4s

Hi

 

I have an iphone 4s. Whenever I send or receive an MMS message, I always get a web link to open a picture, rather than receiving the picture directly. The webpage which then opens sometimes fails to load. However, there are a select few of my contacts I can send/receive them directly without the web link.

 

I used the same SIM card as in my previous phone and I had no problems sending/receiving MMS on there. It wasn't an iphone though. Also, the MMS settings ARE turned on in settings

 

Can anyone tell me why I receive the link and not the picture directly? and if possible how to solve it?

try ringing o2 and get them to reprovision mms on your account.

 

But you are on an iphone tariff and internet browsing etc is fine?

Yep i'm on a tarrif and everything else is working as far as I can gather.

Any pattern with which contacts you can receive from? Which network, what phones etc...?
