Lost signal on iPhone XR

In the last couple of weeks my phone intermittently loses signal and I have to turn it off and on again for it to reconnect. I’ve tried resetting network settings and that seemed to work for a few hours but the problem’s reappeared several times today.

I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the network or the phone.

Anyone else coming across the same problem?

Thanks

Check for network issues here O2 Service Status

Also have a look at this help Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

If all that fails, book an appoitment with Apple Genius bar to have phone checked. https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

I had the same issue. It existed after I upgraded to iOS 13.

It must be an O2 software problem as I was in the USA last week, roaming on AT&T, and had no problems there. No drop out.

I spoke to a guy at my O2 store today who said he had several people come in with the same problem. He suggested replacing my SIM card. This seems to have done the trick as there have been no signal drop outs since.

Good to hear a new sim fixed it for you @RJ1.
It is one of the suggestions in the guide poster above to help the OP.
