Long delays on Apple iPhone 6

Why are o2 experiencing such like no delays on iPhone 6. I upgraded 2 weeks ago still no phone, online chat have said they do not know when they will get stock. Is this a problem with other providers or just o2

O2 no longer sell new iPhone 6 models so any they do have will be from the "like new" range so delays can be expected whilst they wait to receive refurbished handsets.

That's very interesting. I was assured it is a new phone not a refurb. I will get back to them again to make sure as I defo do not want a refurb.

Not even made by Apple anymore so if they are new phones they will be new old stock.

Just spoke to o2 they assured me it will be new. I accept it will be stock which is common for most things. So long as it's not a used/or refurb. Even new cars could be sat in a yard for a year. 😀

If it’s a 6 you are after then I guarantee it won’t be brand new as that model was discontinued early last year

It's fair to assume, based on the information given...
1 o2 say its brand new
2 o2 have no stock yet which is why you're waiting.
3 Apple won't send stock as they stopped making them over 18 months ago.
We can confidently guess that you will not receive the iPhone 6, new, from o2.
I would look at alternatives tbh
