Seriously ! lol Anyway does this mean the account is basically no good now, as he is no locked out completely! I am thinking the only option is too start again , new contract and phone etc.Unless anyone can suggest any other way? Not a happy Mum ! Thanks all.

Hi @Anonymous You son needs his PUK to unblock his phone. Go into My O2 https://www.o2.co.uk/myo2
go to My device, then Device details.

As it's an iPhone you could try this advice from Apple ...which will mean you unless you made a backup before you forgot your passcode, there isn't a way to save your device's data. You'll need to erase your device, which deletes all of your data and settings. Choose a way to erase your device so you can remove your passcode:

It sounds difficult given Apple's security. Can he get into iTunes? If so, did he not use the same password for his Apple id? When are you going to let him back in the house.....?

Just be aware that if you restore the iPhone through DFU mode and your son doesn’t know the Apple ID password and the Find my iPhone feature was enabled before he locked himself out, the phone will not go past the activation screen unless you successfully log in to the Apple ID it was used with before the lockout.

Good evening @Anonymous, it would be lovely to hear how you're getting on with this and if the suggestions above worked with the iPhone?
