Are you on an old legacy o2 tariff ?

You will probably have to ring 02 on 202 to set it up.

You may need to ring o2 on 202 to set it up.

Tethering is for pay monthly customers only.

I have unlimited internet on my phone, so that shouldn't be an issue.

ask on the giffgaff community then this has nothing to do with o2

And for clarity if it is an old o2 unlimited data tariff you cannot enable tethering only new limited monthly tariffs can enable tethering on o2

Yeah if you are with GiffGaff altho they run on O2's network (and are owned by the same parent company) they are not the same.

They do not support tethering.

There are unofficial way's of doing it, but on an iPhone that requires a jailbreak and also GiffGaff may smack your hands wink
