Iphone Screen totally black

My Iphone battery ran out this morning and ever since it won't turn on. Screen completely black, tried numerous chargers for hours, tried holding home & on/off keys down....

Sometimes it can take a while if battery is totally exhausted but if still no response you should contact Apple for help as they may be able to start it up in store for you.

According to Apple they advise this

If the iPhone is frozen and can't be restarted in the normal way do the following: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds. If the red slider appears or the screen dims, keep pressing the two buttons until the Apple logo appears.

Have you tried Apple official chargers? Try a restore via iTunes
