Iphone 6S and a non-compatible Macbook Pro

Got a new iPhone 6S and am unable to upgrade my Mac OS to sync it with my previous device, can 02 back up my old device and install it on the new one?

No, O2 can't but you can backup your old phone in iTunes and restore it to your new one.

I've backed up my old phone but, unable to access iPhone 6S in iTunes version I have, told to upgrade to 12.7 but, unable to install as I need toi upgrade my Mac OS and my Mac won't let me!
