My wife's Blackberry (work related) is being dropped and she will receive a new Iphone 5S instead, she currently has a personal Iphone 5 on contract. The cunning plan is for her to switch her sim to my Iphone 3gs and give me the Iphone 5 - she pays about £40 per month and I am on PAYG.
Can anyone suggest a reason why this would not work - many thanks in advance.

Worth noting she will need to contact O2 to enable all features (data, visual voicemail, tethering) on her sim which will go in the 3GS.
But as it is work related they should be sorting that out on her sim for her.

The 3GS takes a bigger sim so you will need either an adapter or a new simcard. Both can be picked up from your O2 store and number and tariff transferred as necessary instore.
