Iphone 5 64gb in store price

Just got back from local o2 store where they wanted to charge me £449.99 for 64gb iphone 5 on £26 month contract, yet its £399.99 on 02 website, and ive just found out £394.99 on carphone warehouse site. Apparently the store said that if i want it today i will have to pay the full £449.99 price- no way ive gone to local carphone and got it for £55 cheaper and in my hand. O2 store prices are ripoffs

Re: Iphone 5 64gb in store price

Same thing happened to me.
The sales assistant told me that the deal on O2's website is not actually with O2 - they are acting as an agent for Carphone Warehouse.
Nice of them to make that clear on the website...

Totally stupid not to give the online price in-store. Even their own employees are angry because they are losing out on sales. What idiot makes these decisions anyway?

Re: Iphone 5 64gb in store price

I queried the difference in price between pre-order (£399.99) and retail (£449.99) where all other pre-order costs were higher than retail, and was advised the pre-orders were all from Carphone and were at Carphone's prices whereas the retail prices are all direct from O2.
