I've had my iphone 4s just under a year and all of a sudden the lock screen has stopped working. It's unresponsive when I press it, won't lock or unlock and occassionally the phone locks/ acts like the lock button has been pressed spontaneously. Is this something that O2 can deal with or should it be brought up with Apple?
Any thanks greatly appreciated.

Do you know if there's any charge applied by Apple or is it a straight forward exchange?

Thank you very much for all the info. I was digging but I certainly would never have found that page.
It's still under Apple warranty so they should be able to just replace it and I can get that done on Wednesday.
Thanks again for all your help.
