I recently bought a new O2 sim and put it into my iphone. Im abroad at the moment and need to use another simcard, i tried twice to fill in the unlock form on the site and twice i got

I think the problem is either because i have never called anyone on this simcard to have two most used numbers. I don't know what to do im stuck.

with the new sim you have to make calls in the uk on the o2 network to associate the imei of the iphone to the sim card then the unlock will work

as i put 25 pound credit on the phone, can i make calls abroad using my o2 number to associate it or will that not work??

Calls need to be made in the uk on the o2 network

i get back to the UK in 2 months, is there anything i can do to get around this, i really need to unlock my phone.

You can try the O2 chatline but I fear you will need to wait till you are back in the UK for an unlock from O2.
