Hi,

Re: Texting a USA mobile.

I'm in the UK and I can only text mobiles in the USA that have imessage. If I try the 01(mobile number) it gives me an error. I also tried the steps to setup O2 sms, but it still doesn't work.

Any advise would be helpful!

You need credit if you are payg?
Otherwise you need to start number with 001 and drop the first 0 of the phone number.

I have no issues as long as the USA number is in the correct format on my iPhone as my best mate lives in the USA but as it costs we only use iMessages .

but +1 area code eg mn (612) xxx-xxxx
