My son has just got himself the latest iPhone, keeping his original number, and has given me his old one. I think it's a model 8.
But I've just tried to get it going and it's locked to O2. How can I get it to work with my EE sim? I have the EMEI number of the iPhone - but I assume his phone number is no longer associated with the one he's given me.
Basically - what do I have to do to this iPhone to get it to work with my EE sim card?
Thanks for any help!

Thanks for your reply. But the link takes me elsewhere - https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Devices/N-series/td-p/1, not to the page sggested in the link you gave me?
