IPhone 6 Heating

Hi Guys,

My iphone 6 seems to get very hot whilst on phone calls and using some apps. i can be on the phone for all of 8 minutes and the phone gets far too hot even in colder weather. Ive had every Iphone sinch Iphone 4 and not had this issue before, anyone else had this problem ?

Welcome to the forum. Could this be a battery issue? Seems a bit weird as the phone would only be 6 months old  at the most. Maybe you need to ring Apple care and get it checked out?

Best to get an Apple rep to check it out as its a hardware issue & you are in warranty so it should be a straight replacement if faulty

Does this coincide with any recent apps you've downloaded? It sounds like something is working and drawing a lot of battery power.

thanks guys, im gonna book a Genius Bar. Thinking about it possibly coincides with me following an article on how to save battery power and what to turn off, have to find the article to see what i turned off.

Good call @RossP81 . As we said earlier, the phone is still under warranty and Apple is the best place to take it for assessment. Could you please let us know the outcome?. It will be interesting information for others with a similar problem
