IOS 6.1

Just installed 6.1 and my 4S now states I have no 3G account-have recollections from previous update tghat it is to do with Cellular data settings? Any Guru's out there to help a technical dinosaur??

I mean the old way was surprisingly simple was kinda bummed when it gained huge press. Had fun breaking into my mates phones haha

You would think apple would learn considering this happened on ipad 2 and on other iOS versions.

Agreed. Makes you wonder what they were playing around with that could fix the 4s problems and that caused this:/

I can't imagine the lock screen having much to do with battery life or connectivity can you?

I will say tho. At least apple is fixing it and it will be within a couple days. 

If this was android. It would be a couple of months,  then the manufacturers would take a couple of months.Then it would be sent from one coumtry to another, eventually it would get to england. Then the networks would take a couple of months. Then the handset still wouldnt get it, as the networks did t allow big enough bandwidth for then downloads

Very true but I still cant work out how someone could of found out how to do in the first place I think someone at apple must of known and there is a leak
