Reset your network settings. Turn phone off and back on again.

Ever since updating to iOS 6.1, I've had difficulty getting a data connection on my phone.  The 3G or Edge icon will be showing, but I'll be unable to connect to the internet. If I reboot my phone a few times I may get a connection - but that only lasts for an hour or so.

I've tried turning 3G off, and I've tried resetting my network setting and then switching my phone on and off, all to no avail.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Wifi is fine.

Thanks

Pete

Whenever something goes a bit wrong with the iPhone try these steps in order, test and see if fixed.

1) reboot (top and home button at same time)
2) reset network settings (settings > general > reset)
3) restore on iTunes
