I phone 6 won't charge

Anonymous

I plugged my phone in this morning and it won't charge..like it's not connected. Tried different leads but same. Do I take it to Apple which is a right pain on the bum or take it to O2 shop?

Apple would probably be preferable, but if it's easier to take it to an O2 shop, do that first.

Personally I would make the effort and take it to Apple, o2s repairer's don't have a great reputation.

Have you tried keeping the home and on/off button pressed for 10 seconds to reset the phone?

Apple without hesitation!

Unless it actually is water damaged, of course?

I suggested the OP take it to an O2 shop because they had said getting to Apple was 'a right pain in the bum'. The suggestion was made in the hope that someone in store might be able to help, but if it had to be sent off, Apple would definitely be preferred.

I had the same issue with an iPhone 6.  It was a failing charge port on the phone itself.  Apple should swap it.  O2 would too, though you'd likely get a re-furb.

I have heard of Apple giving out refurbs too.  Ask before you accept the replacement!
