Apple are prioritising their own sales channels, it might be worth cancelling and looking at other suppliers although some are quoting way after Christmas to get any.
Vodafone for example are quoting 6 weeks and counting for the iPad Pro 12.9

Don't cancel your O2 order until you have a firm delivery promise from elsewhere as you may not get anything for weeks.
