Hi all , I sent a i-messagefrom my ipad to my dad's yesterday in the afternoon and they only got it at five in the evening now we don't know if it's a wfi issuse at their end as my message sent straight away any idea's?

iPhone 15 plus 128Gb light pink (with Vodafone) slight_smile

It's not uncommon to get issues with iMessage.
Probably their server playing up but could equally be a wifi issue - you need to keep an eye on it and see if it happens often or just a one off.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Could be anything, does your ipad use its own number or are you signed up via phone and iPhone and Ipad?

More likely a delay on the apple side.

@Curr946 it's not on contract it's wifi only both ipads slight_smile no iphones involved @MI5 it's at my dad's end that's the problem is

Typical of iMessage - it will prob go ok for weeks then just randomly play up again.....
