Hi

I have received my mini sim and want to know about activating it. Also once activated will it mean my existing sim will not work because I dont want to be without a phone while I get use to the i-phone?

Cheers

Use this form to activate your new sim with your current number and tariff http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/

Insert the nano sim in the phone which will activate it.

No your old sim will work until you complete a sim swap which moves your tariff and mobile number to the nano sim.

You'll just have a 2nd tel number unless the nano sim you have now is a blank SIM card.

You could pick up a Payg nano sim from any O2 high street store (you may be asked to top up by£10) or order a free one here https://www.o2.co.uk/freesim/

Then When your ready to use the iPhone as your primary phone perform the sim swap I mentioned above via http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk or an O2 high street store can do that for you.

Once the new sim activates, your old phone will not work with the old sim if you're swapping your number. It will be in at the deep end.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
