I cannot receive text messages from my Italian bank in Italy

Text messages sent from my Italian bank in Italy are not received by my iPhone. Has anybody experienced similar problems and if so how have you resolved the problem. Many thanks.

Many have this problem with o2. 
Not many resolve it, but you need to talk to customer service about it.
